Baltimore Office

Party Chief

Prior experience as a Party Chief. Responsible for direction of field crew performing highly detailed urban topographic and utility Surveys. Ability to run Leica GPS, Robotic Total Stations desirable. Must be able to communicate with clients, construction supers and be extremely organized and detail oriented. Must be able to pass all background checks to obtain government badges and have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Instrument Person

Experience as a Instrument Person, preferred. Minimally, experience as a Rodman with willingess to train as Instrument Person. Must be able to pass all background checks to obtain government badges and have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.SHA Experience, a plus.

Chantilly Office

Office Manager / Licensed Land Surveyor

The successful candidate will be a licensed Land Surveyor responsible for the management of the Chantilly office. These duties will include: office productivity (office and field), invoicing requirements, and client relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills sufficient to represent the company to clients, municipal agencies and others. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with VDOT and knowledge with Carlson, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD/Microstation programs.

Land Survey Technician/Project Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation of survey plats and maps including boundary surveys, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, utility route surveys and maps meeting the current VDOT survey requirements. Responsibilities will also include individual project management, court house research, construction staking calculations, and occasional field work. The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision to complete projects with demanding scopes and schedules. Preferred Qualifications: - Minimum of three years relative experience (Licensed as a Land Surveyor in Virginia or ability to obtain license is preferred but not required) - Ability to write fee proposals and communicate with clients. - Experience and knowledge with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Microstation programs. - Strong written and verbal communication skills sufficient to represent the company to clients, municipal agencies and others.

Survey Field Technician / Instrument Person

Experience as a Instrument Person, preferred. Minimally, experience as a Rodman with willingess to train as Instrument Person. Must pass background checks and drug testing for government badges. Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Virginia Beach Office

Survey Technician

Prior surveying experience in field and office. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Carlson Survey is required, Microstation a plus. Must be able to analyze Survey data and prepare CAD drawings from field data, property and utilities records. Must be organized and a good communicator. Preference will be given to candidates meeting the following qualifications: CST and LSIT.

Instrument Person

Experience as a Instrument Person, preferred. Minimally, experience as a Rodman with willingess to train as Instrument Person. Knowledge of land surveying principles and practices is a requirement. Experience performing topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and ALTA surveys a must. Skills in using basic and advanced surveying tools and software are necessary. Ability to use Topcon total stations and Carlson data collectors. Leica & Trimble GPS experience. Mathematical abilities are required to prepare analytical field reports. High school education a plus. Must be able to pass all background checks to obtain government badges and have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
