Precision Measurements, Inc. (PMI) is a full service Land Surveying firm headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia and serving the US Mid-Atlantic region.

PMI is currently certified by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), District Department of Transportation (DDOT), City of Baltimore, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and by the Commonwealth of Virginia Minority Business Enterprise as a Small Woman and Minority business (SWAM).

PMI is able to provide a full range of surveying services to its clients. PMI offers:  Mapping, Boundary surveys, Platting, Topographic surveys, 3-D Scanning, Route surveys, Global Positioning System surveys, Construction stakeout services, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, Geographic Information Systems, Deformation Monitoring, Bridge Situation, Hydrographic surveys, NGS “Blue Booking”, as well as Utility Designation and CCTV services.

PMI currently has on staff Eleven (11) Licensed Land Surveyors, Twenty-Five (25) Survey Technicians, Fifteen (15) fully digital field crews and an extremely capable administrative support staff.  Selected members are also trained and certified in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), OSHA Confined Space Certified, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Inspectors as well as being CSX Certified to perform surveying services within railroad right-of-ways.

PMI has offices in Virginia Beach, Newport News, Richmond and Chantilly, Virginia, as well as Woodstock, Maryland.

PMI is licensed to perform surveying services in fourteen (14) states, including Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, North Carolina, West Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Delaware, and Massachusetts.
